You can ensure the success of future workers following in your footsteps. Administered by the Machinists Institute, the training arm of IAM District 751, the mentoring program now offers retired members a chance to return to work part-time or full-time on second shift in either Renton or Everett. With your expertise, new members can launch their careers and continue the vital work that you started.

Part-time or full-time on second shift in either Renton or Everett

Mentors will be working for the Machinists Institute as contractors and will be paid a flat wage per hour worked.
As a contract employee of the Machinists Institute your retirement or pension will not pause upon becoming a mentor.

All participants must be active IAM District 751 Members and are required to pay monthly dues while participating in this program.

All mentors will undergo an orientation at the Machinists Institute that will outline the expectations and goals of the mentoring program.
