Lab sessions will be held at the Machinists Institute training center in Tukwila - click here for the address, maps etc.
Important - Please make sure you come dressed appropriately for labs. Remember … no open toe shoes like sandals or crocs, and if you can, avoid wearing burqas or any loose-fitting clothing and/or jewelry as they are a safety risk around moving equipment.
Batholomew Kimani
About Your Instructor
Originally from Kenya, Batholomew has spent his professional career in manufacturing in Washington.
Prior to joining the Machinists Institute, he was an instructor in Machining Technology at Renton Tech and has previously worked in local companies as a Manufacturing Engineer and a Product Development Engineer.
He has a MS in Materials Science and Engineering from WSU and holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of Washington.
