Elena Door joined the Machinists Institute in 2022. Elena brings to Machinists Institute more than 20 years of experience in the finance field with progressive accounting and finance responsibilities as a senior lead accountant in non-profit sector. She oversees accounting, finance reporting and financial analysis for the Machinists Institute and has previous experience with Human Resources.
Elena has degrees in engineering and economics and was able to develop her professional growth within the framework of non-profit organizations throughout Washington state.
She has been living in the greater Seattle area for more than 23 years with her 3 kids and husband. She loves to spend her quality time with family and friends, walk her dog, go to the beach, cook and travel.
