Ryan Davis

Senior Director of Education

Ryan Davis serves as the inaugural Senior Director of Education for the Machinists Institute overseeing all the training and education programs including pre-apprenticeship, Registered Apprenticeship, and incumbent worker training. Prior to joining MI, Ryan served as the executive director of Seattle Jobs Initiative and the Dean of Business and Applied Technology at Everett Community College. Ryan is passionate about adult learning, developing innovative workforce development solutions and systems, and creating pathways to quality union jobs.  

Ryan is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and the Evans School of Public Policy at the University of Washington. Ryan also brings extensive board service experience including with the National Council for Workforce Education, Workforce Snohomish, Washington Workforce Education Council, and Seattle Colleges Chancellors advisory board. In his free time, you can find Ryan volunteering on the trails at Mount Rainier National Park, on the tennis court, or at Seahawks and Mariners games.
