Jason Trosine, PhD
director of regional operations, spokane
Jason is the Director of Regional Operations for Eastern Washington with the Machinists Institute. In this role he provides leadership and guidance to students, instructors, and industry partners to ensure that the training and apprenticeship program initiatives are achieved. Jason is also an adjunct faculty member at Gonzaga University in Spokane where he teaches undergrad students about strategic management.
Prior to being hired by the Machinists Institute, Jason was the Director of Enrollment and Financial Aid Services at Washington State University in Spokane. Jason also served in a graduate program coordinator role at WSU Spokane. Prior to his time in higher education, Jason served his country for 20 years in the United States Air Force as a manager and a technician in aircraft maintenance. Jason believes in the mission of the Machinists Institute and is excited to spread the word about the endless possibilities working in the manufacturing trades.
Jason likes to spend his spare time playing ice hockey with his son Noah, teaching, golfing, going to the lake, and spending time with his wife, friends and two golden retrievers.
